The SQ5 Building

Square on Fifth (SQ5) is more than a building. It’s a community of people shaping the future of technology. Conceived, built, and launched by a group of Georgia Tech alumni, each highly successful in real estate development. They came together to help today’s students get access to opportunity they wished they had had before they “got out”. SQ5 is a 25-story student living community—the only one located on Tech Square and the closest to campus. Its front door spills out to a Tech Trolley stop on Fifth Street. Eight floor plans, luxury finishes, mind-blowing amenities, a craft coffee bar in the lobby, two floors of offices, a rooftop pool & gym, and a collaboration space full of networking opportunities. SQ5 breaks new ground in its location, design, and vibe. Looking to live in the heart of Tech Square in a place that has 25 floors of awesome where you can create your future? Welcome home.

  • The tallest building in Atlanta (if it were still 1960)
  • More gallons in the resort-style pool than Red Bull consumed during finals week
  • Square footage of glass windows per four-bedroom suite exceeds the average size of a Manhattan studio apartment
  • George P. Burdell lives on the 13th floor
  • Every suite’s balcony could fit a horse
  • Large enough to house GA Tech’s inaugural class seven times over
  • The least stressful parking experience in all of Atlanta (feels like it at least)
  • Fire pits turn on in time for sunset
  • Enough craft coffee brewed daily to fill an SQ5 bathtub (and they’re big)
